So, I didn’t get home until after 8:00 last night and wasn’t feeling well. Hell, I still don’t feel well. Rum is off of my “good to go” list, I suppose. Two rums should NOT trigger a migraine. But here I sit, waiting for my Imitrex to kick in and see if it will help.
Anyway, I didn’t find what I needed yesterday afternoon for the cupcakes I had envisioned making and I wasn’t up for more shopping after dinner, so I made do with what I had. I ended up making chocolate cupcakes (no filling) with a raspberry flavored cream cheese/whipped cream frosting. I decorated them two ways: 1) with fresh strawberries and 2) with jelly beans. The photos don’t really do them justice but you get the idea. For the fruit topped cupcakes, I have the cakes sitting in flower-shaped paper holders, which also looks better in real life than it does in the photos.
